Account Manager, New Business Development - Marketing & Communications London To 28,000 Basic - 36,000 OTE
We are a successful marketing and communications company based in the West-End. Due to continued growth we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Account Manager, New Business Development.
You:
You should be bright, highly motivated and hungry for success. An effective communicator both on the phone and in writing. You will have been trained in telephone sales techniques, and already excel at this. You will be looking to stretch yourself in an energetic, creative environment. Ideally you’ll have experience in sales and marketing and knowledge of the UK advertising and marketing industry.
The role:
The role involves day-to-day proactive and reactive prospecting, both on the phone and in writing, on behalf of up to 4 clients. These clients will include agencies from a range of leading marketing services companies.
You will be selling your clients proposition to marketing professionals in charge of some of the UK’s biggest brands, opening doors so that they can pitch for, and win, new business.
You will get involved in working with board level agency staff alongside your account director, devising the prospecting strategy and – crucially – executing it.

Account Manager, New Business Development - Marketing & Communications Required Skills:
Commercial sales / new business development experience
Passion to succeed
An interest in the world of marketing, communications and media. Previous experience within these sectors would be a distinct advantage.
You may have worked in the following capacities: Sales Executive, Account Manager, New Business Development, Sales Asscociate, Media Sales, Advertising Sales, Marketing and Communications agency.
