Our client are keen to employ a Senior Project Engineer (Digital Media) with proven experience of project managing the effective development and delivery of engineering products/installations. They are considering candidates from any industry as long as they have the transferable Senior Engineering and Project Management experience/background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, development, delivery and installation of the Digital Media Product programme for the London Underground & DLR transformation programme in accordance with our client’s Business plan.
The role will include the following:
- Support the Head of Technical Development in the customisation and integration of new superior display products for use on the Underground - Liase with and manage internal and external supplier teams to deliver the programme - Oversee all elements of delivering the Digital Media Product programme to agreed standards and deadlines including site visits during installation.
Person Specification: - Experienced project manager with relevant experience managing multi-disciplined programmes to challenging timescales and budget. - Team leader with supervisory experience - Experience in developing new products for different environments and achieving specification - Versed in project management (preferably PRINCE) with a proven track record on a range of varying size projects. - Ability to manage & influence suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve spec, timing and quality - Able and willing to travel throughout the UK as required

Education: Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline Professional Membership - Chartered Engineer preferred Formal Project Management Training preferred Formal Financial Management Training an advantage
