Product Marketing Manager – EMEA Wokingham 50,000 - 60,000 DOE Plus 15% Bonus, Generous Benefits Package including Car Allowance, Stock Options, Retirement Plan, Critical Illness, Life/Health/Dental Insurance
Our client is a global leader and innovator of easy-to-use mobile products. Sold throughout the world, their products simplify people's lives and help them stay connected on the go. They are now looking to recruit a Product Marketing Manager to join their team.
In this key role, as the Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for representing the company’s Outbound Marketing team as the EMEA Outbound Marketing Lead for a select number of exciting products on their roadmap.
Applying your wealth of marketing experience, your responsibilities will include:
- managing the go-to-market planning for a number of products and leading a cross-functional launch team - creating and driving the EMEA marketing plan, defining the strategy, and leading the team in the execution of each program - driving the review and localisation of product positioning, messaging, inbox marketing and packaging - working closely with the US team to provide key EMEA input - managing the communication and delivery of product refreshes and software release updates
To succeed as the Product Marketing Manager you must have a marketing background gained within a hi-tech company, for example a electrical or IT company; and a BA or BSc (or equivalent) in Marketing or a Business related discipline. The ideal candidate will also be a member of CIM or will have an MBA (or equivalent).
With your ability to quickly embrace new technologies and the competitive landscape, you will need to demonstrate success in launching consumer products, developing marketing plans, and leading cross-functional teams. You should also possess a solid command of the core marketing principles, and strong strategic capabilities to guide the team in the development of the product messaging and marketing plan.
Additionally, as the Product Marketing Manager you must have strong project management skills, a proactive and results-orientated approach, and the ability to work both independently and on your own. You will also need excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead cross-functional teams and to present information to large groups.
An excellent command of English is essential, and fluency in any other European language would be beneficial to your application.
