Our client is a leading engineering and environmental consultancy that provides professional expertise in the areas of Water, Transportation, Environment, Building and Systems. The company is the one of the largest engineering and environmental consultancies in Europe. In the UK and Ireland they have 10 strategically located offices working for clients in both the private and public sectors.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join or team based in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. The main purpose of this role is to assist the marketing team in the effective delivery of marketing projects. Within this role, your main responsibilities will include uploading news articles and content onto the company website and intranet, scanning and distributing press articles around the business and collecting information, distributing questionnaires and collating results relating to customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to arrange the sponsorship of corporate hospitality events, collect details for business cards and liaise with designers and printers and contribute to and arrange the distribution of the company newsletter.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have some work experience. With your excellent attention to detail you will have the ability to multi task and organise your workload. You must be a strong communicator and have confidence when dealing with people at all levels. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic and you will have excellent writing skills (to include spelling and grammar).
This role would suit an individual with an administrative background currently working in or looking for their first steps into a marketing career. Opportunities for advancing within the company are available for the right candidate.
