Our client is one of the UK's leading educational publishers. They are now seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to cover a maternity contract for a nine-month period. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation in a pivotal and challenging senior role.
The Role Reporting to the Head of Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff, each responsible for the implementation and budget of individual marketing plans. You will be responsible for ensuring that these plans adhere to the strategic objectives of the organisation, as well as carrying out both direct mail and e-marketing iniatives as necessary. You will be responsible for implementing all marcoms activities, working to tight deadlines and budgets. In addition, you will work with other Marketing Communications Managers within the business to provide effective reports, as well as ensuring that you are aware of sales performance across your sector.
You With a proven background in direct marketing communications, you will have experience of scheduling and budgeting direct mail campaigns, with a strong knowledge of design, print and mail processes. You will have previously managed a small team and will have experience of managing large-scale projects.
Please be aware that this is a maternity contract commencing from June 2008 for a period of nine months.
