SENIOR PR ACCOUNT MANAGER/ACOUNT DIRECTOR - GLOUCESTERSHIRE
Our client is a well-established and successful organisation, based in Gloucestershire, and an award-winning PR agency. They have a broad client range across a variety of market sectors and are now seeking a Senior PR Account Manager/Junior Account Director to join their busy team.
The successful candidate will perhaps be currently working as a Senior Account Manager but is keen to secure the next stage in their career. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but expanding agency and develop your PR skills, client responsibilities and strategic planning to the next level.
The Role You will look after a small PR team, ensuring that they provide an excellent standard of account management to your Clients through superb organisational, planning and interpersonal skills, focusing on first class service delivery. You will be a strong project manager, able to co-ordinate multiple projects simultaneously. You will report directly to the MD, with whom you will work closely, but you will have responsibility for overall team client handling, defining and developing strategic marketing communications programmes, establishing clear objectives, incorporating consistent measures and controls and financial constraints.
In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that strong relationships are developed and maintained with your clients, encouraging client growth, as well as taking an active part in new business development and pitches.
You You will be an experienced PR Account Manager, with considerable experience of working within an agency environment. You will have excellent writing skills, with an adaptable style, along with copywriting experience. You will be commercially aware, with the proven ability to build relationships with clients, and will will enjoy working in a hands-on environment. You will also have previously managed a small team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, but expanding, agency in a key position.
Basic salary negotiable depending on experience plus commission.
