Direct Mail Assistant / Marketing Preston, Lancashire Competitive Salary plus Benefits
Our client specialises in distributing a wide range of audio, video, electrical, electronic and maintenance products and accessories to customers in almost every industry sector through a flexible combination of channels, products and services. The company is a specialist in the promotion of new products and special offers through direct mail and via the web.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Direct Mail Assistant to join their marketing department based in Preston, Lancashire. The successful candidate will work within the Direct Mail Team to deliver the Direct Mail programme. You will be involved with all stages of brochure production from design and layout, price checking and proof reading to final approval. The role also involves some data entry of pricing and code information. Reporting to the Direct Mail & Catalogue Manager you will liaise internally with Product Development and Inventory Teams with some external liaison with printers.
The successful candidate will have worked previously within a highly pressurised, deadline driven environment and will have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively. With your excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy you will have excellent communication skills along with excellent grammar and punctuation skills. You will be a results orientated individual with a positive “can do” attitude and it is essential that you possess good keyboard skills with a knowledge of MS office applications. You must be a good team player but also capable of working alone.
